As I review my winter trunk show season, I reflect on the clients who have visited my boutique and those who I have sent down the aisle. This season was full of the most fabulous gowns in the bridal industry!
This season was the busiest Ever After has ever seen! We had clients from all over the country and the world make appointments for trunk shows. The Vera Wang show was incredible. We had calls coming in for weeks with girls so anxious to see the new Fall 2010 collection, they could not wait to get their hands on it. The Oscar de la Renta bridal show drew a large number of international clients, many South American brides planned their shopping trip around the trunk show date. We had many requests for specific gowns from clients traveling abroad just to see a particular piece! We had to extend our hours just to accommodate the incredible number of appointments we had booked both weekends.
Reem Acra was our opener for the season with the introduction of the collection at Ever After and the response was overwhelming! Reem Acra has a new home in Miami, and brides are thrilled to be purchasing their Reem at Ever After. Angel Sanchez brought a refreshing architectural feeling to the salon. Our fashion forward brides were incredibly excited to see the gowns from Angel.
We had Charles Bunstine visit the salon representing Anna Maier Ulla-Maija, and it was quite a treat to have him in the boutique for the weekend. The collection has roots in luxury brands with Charles’ reputation in the fashion business and in turn had brides fall in love with the craftsmanship and beauty of his product.
The artistry of Carolina Herrera is breathtaking to behold! The clients and their families who have a sophisticated eye could appreciate the art viable in every single piece! Ines di Santo brought a very lovely vibe to our clients from Brazil and nationally abound. Her collection inspired by Diamonds was nothing less than a hit!
Many Ever After Brides were born this season and we look forward to the journey with them to their wedding day!
