As I gear up for the upcoming Fall Trunk Show Season I am left reflecting on the designers and their new collections. This weekend (November 3rd – 5th) EA will be showcasing the gorgeous gowns Reem Acra has created for her Fall 2012 Bridal collection.
Reem Acra grew up surrounded by fashion. As a young girl her grandmother, who created handmade silk flowers, introduced her to the world of art. The Lebanese designer then studied design at the prestigious Esmod Ecole de Mode of Design in Paris and the world-renowned Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. In 1997 she launched her bridal collection and has been a staple in the niche market ever since.
6 years after launching her Bridal collection Reem entered into the world of RTW. She uses rich colors, lush fabrics, and playful patterns to create effortlessly chic gowns. These fashion combinations have made her gowns a staple on the red carpet and in return Reem Acra has dressed some of Hollywood’s elite style icons including: Angeline Jolie, Eva Longoria and Beyonce to name a few.
What makes her gowns so unique is that they speak to a variety of women. Ms. Acra’s attention to detail is seen in every flawlessly constructed gown. The Fall 2012 Bridal collection has the perfect gown for any bride.
