Chelsea Clinton choose renown designer Vera Wang to design the gown for her wedding day. Chelsea wed on Saturday, July 31st in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts. Chelsea’s gown was a fabulous ivory strapless Vera piece with a raw-edged laser cut silk organza skirt for her interfaith ceremony. Chelsea also donned a second Vera Wang gown for her reception; a silk tulle cross-back Grecian gown with a narrow grosgrain black belt for reception. The bridesmaids also had custom designed gowns; strapless bias-cut lavendar chiffon gowns with a side drape and contasting plum bow.
Vera Wang’s design aestetic was perfect for such a royal affair. Vera’s innovative touch was apparent throughout the entire wedding. Vera, a family friend, was in attendance at the wedding as well.
